Large Man - 2008
This model was a learning exercise for Mudbox 1.0.
Process:
1. Created general shape from sphere in Mudbox.
2. Created clean mesh in 3DS Max based off of sphere. Created UV coordinates.
3. Sent mesh back to Mudbox for sculpting. 7 subdivision levels total totaling 2.6 million polygons.
4. Created displacement map in Mudbox over 4 tiles and eventually combined to one 8192x8192 map.
5. Created diffuse and gloss map and rendered in Vray 1.5.
